PROMINENCE Program: Fostering International Competencies and Management Skills of Mercuri Students

From November 4th to 8th, 2024, the University of Economics in Varna hosts the PROMINENCE intensive program focused on enhancing international competencies and management skills. This immersive experience includes students from different European universities, such as:

  • CEU Cardenal Herrera University, Spain
  • Howest University of Applied Sciences, Belgium
  • University of Economics in Varna, Bulgaria
  • Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany
  • Newton University, Czech Republic
  • University of Economics in Katowice, Poland

Mercuri students are participating in this program as an integrated part of their Intercultural Competences course, led by Prof. J. Ganssalli. Through collaborative projects and interactive learning, students are building vital skills for today’s globalized business world.

PROMINENCE promotes the core values of the European Union, emphasizing cross-cultural understanding and cooperation. This program offers students a unique opportunity to connect with peers across Europe, develop leadership capabilities, and strengthen their understanding of cultural diversity in a professional setting.
